Fall Walking

Keep up your walking as the weather gets colder. It can still be fun and a terrific exercise most of the fall, and some of the winter too. Just be sure to dress warm enough in layers so you can remove layers as you warm up. As a general rule of thumb, have one extra layer more than you think you will need. That way, if you get too warm you can always open the jacket or even take it off. However, if you are one layer short, it’s not much fun at all and you’ll likely walk less than you would have otherwise. Bring your gloves if it’s even near the freezing point!
