A personalized exercise program will be recommended for the best, long lasting results. Advice will then be given on how to change to a wellness lifestyle. This approach leads to a speedy and full recovery from back and other health problems.
You always get to decide how long you wish to benefit from chiropractic care.
Wellness, by definition means you can do whatever you want to do. It improves your immune system, metabolism, clear thinking and most importantly gives you more energy.
Chiropractic Care & Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic is the largest natural health profession in North America. We have been actively helping patients enjoy better health since 1895. Chiropractic care offers a holistic approach to many joint, muscle and nerve conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches and pain, numbness or tingling of the arms or legs, and many other conditions.
Chiropractors make gentle adjustments to correct alignment and mobility of joints, primarily in the spine (back and neck). This releases the pressure on nerves that control the functions of everything in the body. The result is a fast natural way of removing pain and other symptoms to restore your health.
Three Stages of Care to the Path to Wellness
- Release
- To quickly relieve pain and tension in spine and balance the nervous system.
- Rebuild
- The focus changes to strengthening the core muscles and joints of the spine and other weakened areas to help prevent a relapse.
- Wellness
- An optional program to continue releasing and rebuilding the whole musculoskeletal system on a maintenance basis. This is highly recommended for some patients to help avoid a relapse.
You Get to Choose How Long You Benefit
Some people say ‘once you start seeing a chiropractor, you have to keep going’. This is simply not true. At least no more than finding a good restaurant that serves food you like. Do you think you might go back if the service is good and you enjoy your meal? Of course you would. Many people find chiropractic care helps them so much that they can’t believe they hadn’t tried it earlier.
Once they reach the point where their symptoms are under control they are given the option to come back if the symptoms return or to continue on with regular maintenance and wellness care. This varies on an individual basis from every two weeks to every three months. Many patients find that once a month works for them but no one is pressured into this decision.
Some patients are smart with their exercises and manage to keep their problem well under control but it’s still comforting to know we are here if they need us again.
