During the early part of the COVID pandemic, Dr Kevin and his loving wife, Lee Bice-Matheson, wrote their first screenplay called a spec script. ‘We couldn’t just sit idly at home especially during the lockdown so Lee Anne came up with the idea of pivoting from being a novelist to enlisting my help to pen an exciting screenplay loosely based on truth.’ It has gathered some significant attention from several studios but no promise yet to bring it to the big screen. Recently their script is entered into a competitive international screenwriter competition where the winners are flown to LA to meet several directors and producers. ‘We’ve got a good shot at this thing. APRIL 2023 UPDATE: Our spec script made it through the 1st round of The Nicholl organized through the https://nicholl.oscars.org/home at The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences in L.A. Hollywood! Cross your fingers for us, please. And no! We won’t be retiring any time soon as Lee Anne and I love what we do. Next update is August.
